About Heart of Compassion Distribution
Heart of Compassion was formed in 2003 to be a lighthouse to those in need. We are a food bank, a job training and certification center, and place for the community to give back. We are a volunteer-based nonprofit organization. We impact seniors, veterans, single parents, unsheltered individuals, and the working poor. Heart of Compassion is a master distributor to food banks and homeless shelters throughout Los Angeles County. In 2024, we distributed 13 million lbs of food and 580,000 lbs of essential hygiene and clothing items.
