Meggan Simpson-Advena, a lifelong Brigantine resident whose life has been a testament to community spirit and resilience, is now in urgent need of our community’s support. As a dedicated mental health advocate, a beloved Brigantine realtor, and a proud mother, Meggan and her family have always given selflessly to others. Her father served as Mayor of Brigantine, and her mother led the True Spirit Coalition, uplifting countless island families in need. Now, Meggan faces a sudden and challenging battle with colon cancer, a struggle that began just as her baby turned one this past summer.
As she bravely navigates through surgeries and treatments, Meggan, her husband Mike—a local firefighter—and their young son Asher need our help more than ever. The Simpson and Advena families, who have generously supported the community time and again, are reaching out for our assistance. Let’s come together to provide the support Meggan and her family need during this critical time.
