Downtown Iron Mountain is fundraising
Downtown Flowers Fundraiser : Iron Mountain, MI
The Friends of the Iron Mountain DDA, 501(c)3 is raising funds for Downtown flowers and beautification in Iron Mountain, MI. All downtown flowers are funded 100% through donations. Historically, local businesses have donated to this cause, however, due to the pandemic and goals to continue to expand our beautification efforts, we have added an online donation option.
In order to maintain the current flowers program this year, at least $7,500 is needed. This covers the planting, watering, and maintenance of 38 hanging baskets, 44 sidewalk planters, and numerous pocket parks and flower beds in the downtown area. Any donations above the fundraising goal of $7,500 will fund the expansion of the current flowers program to to include more of Carpenter Avenue and other areas of the downtown district.
