Hi friends,

I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 21. Now, 10 years later, I reflect on how much this journey has shaped my life. Iam lucky. Most women with endometriosis spend 10 years just trying to get a diagnosis. That’s 10 years of pain, confusion, and unanswered questions.

Managing my endometriosis feels like a part-time job. It requires research, carefully planned meals, tracking symptoms, and finding the right professionals to guide me. It’s a relentless cycle, and for 1 in 10 women this is their reality. From fatigue and cramping to infertility and countless other symptoms, endometriosis is a constant companion that demands your attention.

I am lucky. I have the time and resources to focus on my health.

I am lucky. Most days, I can get out of bed and tackle what needs to be done.

I am lucky. I have a supportive husband and family who lift me up on the hard days.

Right now, there’s no cure for endometriosis. Treatments are limited, awareness is lacking, and for many, the condition feels invisible. I feel like somedays, I'm just Kelly. But other days, I become my condition and cannot see anything beyond it. Endometriosis has gone on too long with too little answers. It effects too many people to have too little treatments. It is too painful to be too overlooked.

I’m not a runner by nature. I don't know what compelled me last year to have "run my first 1/2 marathon" as a year goal. It took a lot of encouragement, a killer playlist, and some well-timed snacks to get me across that finish line. But I’ll never forget the pride I felt—not just for running 13.1 miles, but for overcoming the obstacles my condition constantly throws at me.

This year, I’m running again—not just for myself, but for every woman fighting this battle. For the Endo Warriors who push through the pain. My goal is to raise $1,000 to support endometriosis research and shed light on this often-overlooked condition. And I’d love for you to join me in this journey. The run will be on March 29th, but you can participate however it works for you - just complete 13.1 miles by that date. Take 3 days to complete it - or 3 weeks! Run, walk, or jog at your own pace, wherever you are. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those living with endometriosis.
