Please support our vision where no one is forced to skip their potentially life saving mammogram because of the cost!
Because of our amazing donors, it is a joy here at the Conejo Free Clinic to give over 900 low-income and uninsured women a mammogram free of charge each year…… women who are sadly without access to the breast cancer prevention and diagnostic screenings they need every year.
This year we have about 170 additional women needing our help, so we need to raise an additional $11,000 to make sure every woman gets their mammogram without charge. We are passionate that EVERY woman is served here.
Also without charge to our patients, we can provide the more advanced diagnostic mammogram, breast ultrasound, and even the breast biopsy if needed. We are the only free clinic in the nation that provides this comprehensive level of breast cancer screenings and diagnostics free of charge!

Did you know Ventura County west into the Santa Monica area has the highest incidence of confirmed breast cancer in the whole state of California? When we learned of this through the California State Mapping Project, we launched our first official Mammogram Fund to raise additional money to help more struggling women get a mammogram and whatever additional breast diagnostics that may be needed FREE OF CHARGE. Although we are located in Ventura County, CA, about one hour north of Los Angeles, women do not have to live in our county to receive services, and in fact, come from all over Southern California and even beyond.
Even with the new Affordable Care Act, the ACA, about seven million Californians will remain uninsured or underinsured, or will have such high insurance premiums and co-pays that they still won’t have access to medical care.
100% of your gift to the Conejo Free Clinic Mammogram Fund will go directly to pay Rolling Oaks Radiology, our services provider. No clinic administrative costs will be deducted. Not many fund raising projects can claim that!
