More information about Committee To Eliminate Media Offensive To African People (CEMOTAP): Since 1987 CEMOTAP Has fought for control of our informational lives. We have fought racist media and supported Black Media, Black Media personalities and Produced Accurate information/Media for African People through forums, articles, books, radio programs, TV programs and videos.
We own our own building. We pay no rent but the costs of insurance and utilities have gone up each year. We have never accepted government funds and have survived through your generosity at our free informational functions. COVID has prevented us having our monthly forums or 2 major fundraisers this year. We ask that you help us raise $7,000.00 to cover the cost of our insurance for 2020.
If everyone who has attended a free forum or read one of our articles or books or watched us on TV would donate a little no one will have to donate a lot.
