Check Your Compass Counseling Scholarship Fund
I am Dr. Vinnie Cappetta of Hopkinton, MA. Over 30 years ago, I lost my mother and my step-father to violent deaths. I experienced PTSD and almost took my own life. The counsel I received from the Bible and my church mentors saved my life.
In 2008, I started Check Your Compass Counseling as a ministry to those who may feel as lost as I did. We have given away more than $25,000 to help pay for counseling services to those who could not afford the full price. We want to give away more this year and we need your help.
If you give, your gift will provide individual counseling for:
-Grief and Loss
-Trauma
-Pre-marriage Counseling
-and other issues like anxiety and depression.
This money will also provide resources for our Grief Support Group which is one of the largest in our area. No one should stand alone in their grief.
Before setting up the scholarship fund, I had to turn people away because we didn't have the resources. I don't ever want to do that again.
I would be eternally grateful if you decided to join me in this needed work of "helping people find the way to emotional health."
