Aspen Junior Hockey (AJH) has been a cornerstone of the Aspen community for 50-plus years, teaching values of respect, commitment, determination, and perseverance. Established in 1972, AJH has touched the lives of generations of families in Aspen. The non-profit program has been a cultural touchstone, instilling community pride in those involved. AJH is grateful for the support of the Aspen Community as the program continues to provide opportunities for young athletes.

As we celebrate another season, Aspen Junior Hockey is reaching out for contributions from families and donors to continue to support the athletes. With your help, we can continue to nurture the potential for greatness in every young athlete.

Coach Will had an infectious personality and always had a positive outlook. He gave his time and energy to our youth, asking for nothing in return. In his short time here at Aspen Junior Hockey, Will left a long-lasting impact that will be forever missed. Not only AJH but the entire community of Aspen will feel this irreplaceable loss of one of our own.

In memory of Coach Will, AJH created this Scholarship in his honor.

Established in 1972, Aspen Junior Hockey (AJH) has been an integral part of family life for generations. Growing up in Aspen wouldn’t be the same without AJH — it’s a non-profit cultural touchstone steeped in community pride.

Aspen Junior Hockey is so grateful to be a part of the Aspen community; the history and the values that have come and gone will forever be with everyone involved. Whether you played in the program, knew someone, or donated to AJH, you will forever be a part of our family.

For almost 50 years, Aspen Junior Hockey has served our community by instilling our core values in our children: respect, determination, commitment, and perseverance. We want to take a moment to thank every member and donor for being a part of our Aspen Leafs Junior Hockey Family.


This season we're back in full force as we continue to provide our youth in the community the opportunity to play one of the greatest games on Earth! Each year Aspen Junior Hockey relies on so many great people who donate to our program.  These donations provide our youth with developmental opportunities while playing the game of hockey. Our children learn and grow intellectually, physically, professionally, psychologically every time they get on the ice. After they graduate from AJH, we hope that the experience of playing youth hockey will lead them to find success in future endeavors while instilling core values to become better people than they were yesterday. 


This 2021-22 season, we are reaching out to YOU, our beloved AJH family, for support. Your generosity is crucial to keeping our kids on the ice.
