Abby’s Angels Animal Haven

We recently took in a mom and 9 puppies to ensure they would not be placed on a euthanasia list. Puppies and mom had been doing well until Monday, 1/19. One puppy vomited and then seemed okay. Last evening, 1/23, when their foster arrived home from work, one of the puppies was found unresponsive. We took the other 8 puppies to CPVets in State College, Pennsylvania, and our worst nightmare was confirmed. They tested positive for parvo. All 8 puppies are receiving the monoclonal antibody for the virus and are on supportive care, but the low-end estimate for this extremely severe virus is $25,795. The high-end cost is $44,337. We also have to take their mother to another clinic to be tested.

We desperately need your help to ensure, not only the best care for these babies so that we can help them fight and survive, but so that we are able to continue to care for the other 40 dogs in our care.

These pups and their mom didn’t fight so hard to be saved, to only be lost to a horrible virus. Help us, help them, please. As long as they fight, we fight.
