Wow we are so blown away by your generosity.  I spoke to Sandy last night and he is lost for words how to thank you and for all the heartfelt wishes you have sent to him and the boys.  We are really grateful for you donations which will take the pressure off in the immediate future so Sandy can concentrate on looking after the boys without added financial worry.
GoFundMe would like me to clarify to ensure transparency, that the funds are going direct to Alexander Nelson, or as we know him, Sandy Nelson, and will be used for upcoming bills and living costs only.
As most of you now know, Caroline was tragically taken from us in a car accident on Monday 8th October.
I would like to ask friends of Caroline and Sandy to help us raise funds to help support Sandy and the two boys and Caroline's family at this difficult time.
Unfortunately at painful times like this, the bills keep coming in. The family are facing the funeral costs and were in the middle of moving houses which itself brings its own costs.
We would like you to, instead of flowers and cards, consider a wee donation to help Sandy and the boys along over the coming weeks.
Having never done something like this before I didn't realise I need to be a bit more specific for GoFundMe to action the page so here goes with an amendment.
I'm Kate McManus-Coyle, from Argyll, I have been friends with Caroline and Sandy for many many years, I am asking for donations so that Sandy can keep the bills paid over the next few weeks while everything is sorted out, the money raised won't come through me but will go direct to Sandy.
