Believe Toy Drive 2015

My name is MariaMadeline Fava and I started a Charity in 2013 called the Believe Toy Drive to collect toys and donations for sick Children in need at Women and Children's Hospital.
With the holidays rapidly approaching, let us try to focus on the traditional and ever so important meaning of christmas, let us appreciate family, enjoy giving to others, take part in self-less acts, make miracles a reality, and focus on love and peace. Let us put efforts into paying it forward, to possibly make someone else's christmas special. I ask others to recognize the true meaning of the holiday spirit in joining me to Donate Toys to Children at our local Hospital here in Buffalo NY. Not all children get the luxury of being snuggled up near a christmas tree reading the night before christmas this holiday, many children spend their holidays in the hospital, receiving treatment, recovering from surgeries or fighting for their lives. Instead of asking Santa for toys this year some children are simply asking for christmas miracles of good health as their "gift" and some even asking for the gift of life itself. This will be my 3rd year collecting for my Foundation and each year I am amazed with how my community comes together with such love and kindness. Some of these children would not have had any christmas gifts if it wasnt for the Toys that we purchased and delivered to the hosptial. I am asking for gift certificates and monetary donations, checks payable to Maria Fava for the purchase of Toys and items in need from a "wish list" provided to me from Women and Childrens Hospital.
Each year I include local businesses as "drop off points" for gifts or donations of any kind. This year Drop off Locations include:

Spring Lake Winery- 7373 Rochester Road, Lockport
Lockport Dental Group -39 Elizabeth Drive, Lockport

This is a topic near to my heart as i have spent time recovering in this very hospital from Brain Surgery in 2011. While i was lucky enough to have tremendous support, love and visitors to help me through my hard time, i observed that many of these children had no one. No visitors, no get well gifts or wishes. My mission this year is to bring smiles to those children with the help of others. Thank you in advance for your support and i look forward to this endeavor.
