Another Day in Paradise
I'm filming a 60-minute (or less) documentary on homelessness in Pinellas County, Florida. The documentary will follow 2 or 3 people who are or have recently been homeless and their struggles to obtain housing and/or jobs. I'm doing this while also looking for employment, so this campaign serves 2 purposes.
Funding will help with equipment (extra microphones - one died while filming Richard in the clip shown here; SD cards, film, lenses, etc), as well as transportation, as well as paying part-time help on the project. (Disclaimer: I use cabs, buses, etc. to get to filming locations - I can see well enough to film, but not well enough to drive.)
While I'm filming, editing, and overseeing others with equipment set-up and break-down, I could not do this project without YOU - my backers. This is why you are important. Everyone who donates from $10 on up gets something as my way of thanking you.
$10 backing: I'll send out thank-you on Twitter and Facebook, as well as mentioning you in the end credits under "Backers" (you can remain anonymous, if you'd like). You'll also get one DVD copy of the final product.
$25: Same as $10, but with 2 DVDs of final product.
$50: Same as above, except you are listed as "Patron" in end-credits, and you get 3 DVD copies; you can have me thank you at the intro to one of the DVDs, if you'd like!
$100: Now you'll be listed as one of the "Producers" in the end-credits (!), along with 3 DVDs, 1 of which will have a personal "thank you" at the beginning.
$500: "EXECUTIVE Producer" status in end credits, along with 3 DVDs (1 w/"thanks"), shout out on FB and Twitter. You'll also get a framed 8X10 from the documentary.
$1,000: "Executive Producer" status, 4 DVDs with personal "thanks" on ALL 4, if you'd like. Shout out on FB and Twitter. 2 framed 8X10s from the documentary .
Lastly: $5,000: This gives you the "Executive Producer" status, with the words "A very special thanks to the following:" in front of your name in the end credits. You'll get 4 DVDs, 2 framed 8X10s from documentary. And one extra bonus (besides my undying appreciation): For this amount, all of the above PLUS three 20X30 inch framed photos (22X32 inches in frames), viewed on my production site at: http://robinshwedoproductions.weebly.com/photos-for-sale.html . These will be shipped (fully insured) by UPS.
Funding will allow this project to go forward - without my becoming part of the documentary. (Yes, it's that important.) It will also fund this for the entire time filming and editing is being done, which should conclude by the beginning of April, 2017.
