Camille's Crew Cycles to the Transplant Games

Donation protected
Bicycling has been a part of my life since I was four years old, it was because of a family bike ride that my diagnosis of Pulmonary Hypertension was discovered. Due to my severe Pulmonary Hypertension, I needed a rare heart and lung transplant. In March of 2018, I received the Gift of Life at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Even when my disease made it seem like I was breathing through a coffee straw I still continued to bike. When I received the call for my new heart and lungs I was riding 15 miles on a stationary bike that was in my hospital room. My name is Camille Frede and I am aiming to break records in bicycling at the 2019 World Transplant Games in the United Kingdom. My goals in participating in the Games this August is to become the athlete that I have always dreamed of being. I began my training for the games three months after my life changing surgery. My training schedule is intense but I am optimistic that in August I will be able to compete competitively and win. Please help me achieve my goal of competing in the 2019 Transplant Games by donating.
