Brad suffers from Functional Seizures or his body has rewired his central nervous system that causes daily chronic brain pain, loss of motor control of his limbs, dangerous loss of consciousness and as a result suffers from over 12+ severe seizures per day, even while he sleeps.

This condition is rare to the point that less then 2% of sufferers are ever diagnosed. In most cases sufferers are unable to be cured and need to learn to live with their debilitating condition.

Any and all donations and assistance provided will be genuinely and sincerely grateful for, as all funds will go to assisting Brad pay for the modifications to his home and precure and train a Medical Assistance Dog.

To assist Brad to live a "Normal" daily existence a Medical Assistance Dog $30,000 and Home modifications $30,000 are needed allow him to live as independently as possible for as long as possible, prior to needing a personal carer.

In 2010 Brad started suffering from unprovoked random physical seizures at work for no reason. He was fit and healthy, was happily married and a father of twin boys who had just turned 8 and was in stable employment.

The next six years were spent desperately investigating every medical reason for the onset on his seizures and potential treatment and cures. Investigations, tests (Blood, Body, Spinal, other) and brain scans (MRI's, CT, PET, X-rays) by numerous specialists which resulted in negative results or potential causes.

Until recently less then 2% of sufferers are ever diagnosed due to its rarity worldwide as Neurologists, Neurosurgeons and Neuropsychiatrists tend to initially diagnose such conditions as epilepsy and their attempt to resolve symptoms and conditions through treatment via conventional anti-epileptic medication usually is to no avail as abnormal brain activity "Lights Up" in another part of one's brain.

As time has gone by Brad's Seizures have progressively deteriorated to the point he is now on a disability support pension after appealing a Centrelink initial assessment.

Over the years until 2014. The daily chronic pain, medical bills, multiple daily seizures, clinical depression has taken its toll.

Brad is now starting life over again to the point that he is struggling to build and modify a home to accommodate his daily disability requirements as his condition worsens.

Brad requires $30,000 to finalise his home modifications in the next few months to assist him to move in and to live a "Normal" independent life while he is still capable of doing so.

On top of these home modifications Brad needs to acquire a "Medical Assistance Dog" specially trained to detect when he is about the experience a seizure. This currently is his only option to assist his daily seizures as conventional medicine and pharmaceuticals won't work.

Sourcing, Procurement, Training and Certification and Implementation of Medical Assistance Dogs can amount anywhere up to $30,000 and then sooner a dog is sourced the better for Brad and his daily life.
