GET MY DAD HOME

The thought of doing this kills my pride inside however we have no other option than to ask for help. On Christmas Eve my dad had a stroke, he suffers from Lupis on a daily basis and is probably the strongest proudest man Youl ever meet, one of a kind actually. We are in Alicante sitting in a hotel wondering what the best course of action is to ensure he gets the best care and support possible , and I believe that is to get him back to he UK where he belongs in Scotland . He is not covered over here and every day is a cost we are struggling to afford along side staying in hotels and flights to be closer to him as every day brings up a new challenge unfortunately with his stroke has came the news of pneumonia and a hole in a valve which is causing a leak in his heart this causing serious concern of another stroke or heart attack. We are hoping with the help of everyone’s kind hearts you can help us to get him back to the UK, he is still in Intensive care however we have been informed he would be able to fly air ambulance which has been quoted at £26000 or by road ambulance at £15000 we are willing to put every penny we have left to attempt to meet near this goal but we are hoping with the help of everyone in the worlds kindness that we can meet this amount required , and even if we don’t meet the target the amount that we raise would help towards rehab and care in Spain so he has the best chance of a full recovery. This is a circumstance we never thought we would end up in and the worst time of my life , I really hope and wish that by some how we can help get him close to loved ones but mainly get him the care / treatment and support he needs back home in the UK.
