Hello everyone my name is Kevin Burnside Jr 28 years old. from central New York born with spina bifida & Recently became bilateral below knee amputee due to some health issues. Due to my disability I have to use a sit ski able ski.Adaptive sports is my life. I belong to the Sitrin Stars Adaptive Sports program. I use to play Wheelchair basketball but I converted over to Para Nordic Skiing & Biathlon last year . I absolutely fell in love with it. I love the challenge. I competed in U.S. National 18 in Bozeman,Montana and Empire State Winter Games in Lake Placid New York.
My goal is to make the national team to compete represent my country. It’s gonna be a tough process go thru. I’m dedicated to my training and achieving my goal.
Im asking for donations and contributions to help cover cost with ski equipment, travel expenses /competitions and training camps.
Every donations and contributions will be used towards all my skiing stuff . I’ll greatly appreciate it!
