CHRISTMAS SPRIT APPEAL!!
It’s that time of year when I can’t help thinking about others that are less fortunate than us I have decided to support a young man that has been in our community for a number of years now.
Simon Wray is the guy that sells the Big Issue outside Boots in Harrogate.
I have supported Simon for years buying the big issue from him, he is so lovely, kind, polite, friendly and always smiling.
Last year sadly Simon was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis which has had a massive impact on his life, I have spoke to Simon in great depth and I have decided to see if we can make his Christmas a little bit special!!!
Simon told us that at this time of year it’s very quiet for him as people are thinking about Christmas which he said “he fully understands” Bless him.
Guys Simon stands out side Boots in Harrogate in all weathers, he mentioned that at this time of year he really struggles with the cold and over the Christmas and new year he’s sales on the Big issue he sells are very low! They have also increased the price of the magazine over the Christmas period from £2.50 to £3 which Simon pointed out it make it even hard to sell the magazine.
Having Spoken to Simom he is struggles financially with the basic like having no money to put gas and electric on his meter card and not having hardly any money for food!!
Things we take for granted like heating, water and basic food in our cupboards.
The target of £300 would be amazing as we could put £100 on each electric and gas card and take him £100 to do a food shop!! This will help him greatly over the Christmas and New year!!!

On my social media business page I have asked for other donations for him and he’s daughter for Christmas which the response has been incredible so hopefully we can make there Christmas a little bit more special!!!
