Francis Arcand

Raising money for Francis and Julie Arcand. Friday night they were at their daughter's house when Francis started becoming confused, if you know him he likes to mess around so no one thought anything of it. He then went into the bathroom and after about a half hour we knew something was wrong. When we went to check on him he was not verbal and slouched over, we ended up having to call the ambulance and once being brought to algona he had two seizures on the way there. When we got there we got told he had a stroke and they had to out him into a medically induced coma and intubate him. He was then life lighted to Mason City to the Crital Care Unit.  Saturday he was still intubated all day but we also got some answers as to what was going on, we found out he had sepsis, which caused multiple infections all over his body. Sometime during all this he also developed viral meningitis and epilepsy in his right frontal lobe. They also said some brain damage is visable but right now we are unsure how his brain was affected. With everything going on were unsure on how long he will be there or how long he will be recovering when home. This is to help raise finds for hospital bill's, traveling back and forth for julie, and bill's adding up at home as well. Any little bit will help take a load off of them, thank you.
