<div>Growing vegetables in village gardens is an income-generating avenue in rural areas. These gardens also produce a range of vegetables that provide their households with nutritious food and are sold fresh in local markets. Over 90% of the farmers working in

<div>rural vegetable gardens in The Gambia are women. Gardens in rural areas are typically clustered together in a single location to facilitate access to water, labor sharing, and security. However, the conditions in these rural gardens are highly challenging. The women farmers constantly face significant shortages of quality seeds. As a result, yields are often low. Because most seeds are imported, the depreciation of the currency on top of the local inflation has made it even more difficult for these poor farmers to buy needed inputs.

<div><strong>Where the Money Goes</strong>

<div>Seeds for Prosperity is a non-profit Gambian foundation that helps farmers in these rural horticultural gardens to have access to essential inputs. We focus on seeds, fertilizer, and sustainable irrigation systems. Last year, we assisted 65 villages with vegetable seeds, which directly benefited 20,000 farmers. There are still many villages that need support we were not able to reach. Your support will make it possible for us to do many more. The funds will go towards seeds purchased mainly for onions, lettuce, cabbage, tomato, pepper, and eggplant.

<div>Seeds for Prosperity is a lean organization that does not divert donations to overhead costs. All (100%) of the contributions received will go exclusively towards subsidizing the purchase of seeds for these rural horticultural gardens. None (0%) will go towards overhead or administrative costs. This policy was observed in our successful 2023

<p>As'salamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Alhamdulillah with your support, our channel has reached over 1,020,000 SUBSCRIBERS and over 130,000,000 VIEWS and it has benefited thousands of people to come back to Islam. But recently YouTube demonetized our channel unjustly and unfairly without giving us any valid reasons. Our videos was never suitable for their site simply because it's Islam religion related topic, even though we never upload anything that promotes hate or violence towards anyone. And with YT taking our only source of revenue, it's very difficult for us to make videos because the cost is really high. Just to give you an example, a basic 20 seconds Stock Footage can cost up to $60 - $120 and most of our video length is about 8-15 minutes long. So you can see, it's really expensive, and also using stock footage can help us avoid any copyright issues since it will be 100% licensed video.

Hisham would always make sure that everyone around him was taken care of and would try to put a smile on everyone's faces before his. Were just at a loss for words for what happened and wished this wasn't true. We decided to create this go fund me to help cover his funeral expenses, so his family doesn't have to worry about covering the costs of his funeral &amp; any extra money will be going to charity. <p>Gambia National Fundraiser for Covid-19 <br /><br />This fundraiser is formed by a group of leading Gambian fundraisers that have teamed up to raise funds both at home and abroad for the underprivileged in The Gambia. As we all know, the Covid 19 pandemic will hit the poorest and the most vulnerable more than any other section of our society as they usually do not have anyone to turn to. Bigger International charities and government’s resources have been over stretched to the their limits or by the time help gets to them it will be too late and no one has any idea when this epidemic will end.

<p>Due to low wages and salaries in The Gambia, most people can’t afford or do not have the luxury of buying monthly groceries in bulk like some of us in the West. To help reduce the spread, most public, private services and businesses will either be limited or stopped entirely by the government and this will seriously affect those that depend on them for their daily survival. We all know what any parent is willing to do just to keep your family alive.

<p>What will my money be spent on?
