Holistic health is my passion, fueled by my firsthand experience of the transformative healing that occurs when body and soul receive essential nourishment. I graduated from an LMT program at Healing Mountain in March 2020, just as the world came to a standstill. My license testing date was delayed, causing my knowledge and confidence to slip, and I didn’t pass the MBLEx on my first attempt. Since then, I’ve worked various jobs while building my creative business, StillMeCo. My dream of creating and selling art and jewelry that inspires healing became reality in June 2024, when StillMeCo became a registered LLC. I’ve deeply enjoyed forging community connections by sharing my heart with those around me.
I’ve been blessed with consistent income as a caregiver for my grandmother, who is nearing the end of her journey with Alzheimer’s. I’m back on my old campus weekly, studying to retake my Massage Therapy Licensing Exam, and I feel confident about the path I’m on. Self-sustainability is my most urgent goal, especially as the entrepreneurial landscape has shifted dramatically over the past five years. As a multifaceted person, I see numerous opportunities to use my creativity and skills to share knowledge and generate consistent, sustainable income. I strive to live frugally, with minimal environmental impact, always aiming to contribute more than I take. I believe gratitude attracts abundance. To move forward, I know the best step is to invest in a trailer or van, suitable for both travel and use as a mobile vendor.
I am still paying off my student debt, and could meet those obligations while uplifting myself and others if I had a structure to work from, without the added burden of monthly overhead costs to another entity. I will already be covering essential business expenses, such as insurance and other start up needs.
I have practiced patience, sacrifice, perseverance, and responsibility in pursuing my goals. I have explored various municipal grant opportunities for women-owned businesses, but found that I either do not meet the criteria for priority or have yet to connect with the right resources. I sincerely appreciate your consideration and support in providing a stable foundation for me to launch my endeavors. For nearly two decades, I have worked tirelessly to create this stability for myself, and I am determined to keep moving forward. I am confident in my work ethic and the value I can bring to my community. I am forever grateful for the influences and people surrounding me.
