Some people come into our lives and leave footprints. Others leave a hole that can never truly be filled. Kris’s brother, Erick “Metric” Johnson, was one of those people. On the evening of October 9, 2026, Erick was struck by a vehicle in Bellflower, California. Tragically, Erick did not survive. Just like that, Katie Johnson lost her husband, brothers lost one of their own, and so many people lost someone they loved deeply.

Erick leaves behind his beloved wife, Katie, his partner in life for 20 years. For those fortunate enough to have known Metric, you know just how special he was. He was the kind of man you could count on. In the good times, he was there to celebrate with you. In the bad times, he was there to stand beside you. He was a husband, a friend, a brother, and an incredible human being whose presence made the lives of those around him better. He was loved beyond words, and his loss has left so many absolutely heartbroken.

As Katie faces the emotional and financial burden of laying her husband to rest while trying to figure out how to move forward without him, any support would mean so much. Every donation will go toward Erick’s final arrangements and financial support for Katie as she navigates the difficult days and months ahead. No amount is too small, and every contribution matters. Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser to help support Katie during this devastating loss.

Support Katie and Honor Erick Metric

I feel very torn about doing this, too prideful to ask for help, but can’t keep managing this on my own.

Our new puppy Jake quit eating on Thursday, started vomiting and having diarrhea. I took him in and he was diagnosed with Parvo! The home treatment survival rate is 50% and with in hospital care it goes up to 92%. He has been in the hospital but it’s costing a minimum of $1,500.00 a day. I’ve depleted what I have available and need to continue giving him every chance I can to survive this.

Anything helps. I don’t know how to ask for help and feel horrible doing this but I’m running out of options.

To the friends of Antonio Louie Sanchez also known as "termite or "cacis"

On August 31st 2021 at 8:00 am in the morning Tony went to meet his father in Heaven the dear Lord Jesus Christ. He was 46 years old and taken from this earth far too early. John 11:25-26 Jesus, said to her, " I am the resurrection and the life. whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die do you believe this?" Tony did believe this. Unfortunately Tony Jr had been quietly suffering and battling with cirrhosis of the liver and the vices that brought it upon him. Despite the pain he was in he worked hard and continued to be a loving father, husband brother and son. Tony had a bigger than life personality, he could be intimidating to some, but if you really knew him you would know he was very loyal with a huge caring heart.. he was always asking how his aunts were doing, what his cousins were up to and generally cared about all around him: he was warrior and his name around the streets came with some serious credentials that would scare the average person. Tony loved his family deeply, the sound of his singing; the extra big hugs and his contagious smile will be missed beyond measure. We open this fun to bless the family; many friends and family have reached out to give and donate out of respect. We are using this platform so that anyone's life who has been touched by Tony will be able to help with the funeral expenses and all that goes along. He leaves behind his treasures ..his daughter Isabella Sanchez and wife Araceli Sanchez. We want friends and family to know that Tony was insured with a life insurance policy that will help with expenses, we hope that the donations will help with any added funeral expenses, this will also help Araceli and Isabella with anything they might face in the unforeseeable future.

Thank you so much friends and family

It is with extreme sadness that I announce the passing of Carlos A Casal on 8/14/2020. After almost three weeks Carlos died of complications after a motorcycle accident. Carlos was a friend to many, and has always been eager to help a friend or brother in need. Carlos was a great father and amazing grandfather and I am lost without him. I am raising money to cover the costs of end of life expenses, including funeral and a memorial services as my fathers passing was unexpected. I have been grateful for the support shown so far and can not thank you all enough for helping our family during this time.

I've never done this before or hoped I would never have to. But unfortunately my Daughter, Sydney Briggs and her family are going through a tough time. My Daughter had a "Giant Cell" tumor removed a little over a year ago. This past week they discovered the tumor is back and with a vengeance (posted her story below). In the next couple of week she will need to have surgery to reconstruct her knee/femur. The reason I'm finding the need to start this go fund me is... My daughter just started a new job in February. The companys very supportive, we're just not sure how this will all play out. She will be off work for up to 3 months. With all of this weigh on the family, her husbands company closed its doors and he no long has a job. Also to top it off, their room mate might be moving out. WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS. They also have my little granddaughter, who will be 2 in May, to take care of! It's been very hard on my daughter pain wise and emotionally. She is pretty much bed ridden when she gets home from working all day. So taking care of house hold chores is limited and playing with Maci is done on the bed. My daughter and son in law could really use a monetary cushion to help them through any financial stress during this time. Any amount would be so helpful. We really appreciate it. xoxo Love Nina Sydney's post on Facebook: In Jan 2018 I had surgery to remove a benign bone tumor in my femur next to my knee... a few months ago i started having pain again.. Last week I finally got an appointment to go back to doctor and found out my tumor is back and the size of a baseball or large orange and has taken over my whole lower femur the darker/translucent part of my xray is the tumor and the white circle in the middle is the bone cement from my previous surgery and on the side view you can see the tumor starting to grow outside of my bone... Today we met with the Orthopedic Oncologist and I will be having another surgery in a few weeks once we finish a few more tests and I will be needing a full femur/knee reconstruction which sound like sooo much fun with a toddler luckily i have Nina Hoch English and Margaret Briggs for help

Briggs Family

My name is Phil Bedford and this fund is for my friend John Harr whos wife Debbie Harr was taken away from him and their kids way too soon from a tragic car accident. She was devoted loving wife and mother. Brought joy everywhere she went. She leaves behind her 5 kids, Katy 30, Scotty 28, Ethan 18, Justin 17 and Lisette 9. Debbie was hit by a careless speeding driver who ran a stop sign on December 5th.

Please help us raise money to help with Debbie's funeral expenses and to help John with the unfortunate transition on taking care of their kids on his own.

All funding will go directly to John and their kids.
