<div>In August of last year, my son Agustín fractured his femur while playing soccer — the sport he loves and a big part of his dreams and goals. What initially seemed like a simple fracture led to the discovery of something more serious: an Aneurysmal Bone Cyst, a bone tumor that has been growing and weakening his bone.

<div>Since then, we have endured months of medical tests, constant monitoring, casts, immobilization, and uncertainty. Recent imaging showed that the tumor has grown, and we are now awaiting a biopsy to confirm that it is completely benign, as doctors strongly believe. With faith, we hope the results will fully rule out cancer so we can proceed with the surgery that is currently scheduled.

<div>If the biopsy results are not favorable, Agustín may need a different and more complex type of surgery and follow-up treatments.

<div>This surgery is essential to preserve his leg, strengthen the bone, and give him the opportunity to one day return to the soccer field. Soccer is not just a sport for him — it is his passion and part of who he is.

<div>At this time, I am facing serious financial hardship. My accounts are in the negative, and I currently do not have stable income. The medical expenses, imaging studies, hospital visits, and upcoming surgery have been overwhelming. As the only provider for my family, I cannot manage these costs alone.

<div>Mi nombre es Valeria y soy mamá soltera de tres hijos maravillosos. Soy el único sostén de mi hogar y trabajo día a día para sacar adelante a mi familia sin ningún tipo de ayuda económica.

En agosto del año pasado, mi hijo Agustín se fracturó el fémur mientras jugaba fútbol, el deporte que ama y que forma parte de sus sueños y metas. Lo que comenzó como una fractura terminó revelando algo más complejo: un Aneurysmal Bone Cyst, un tumor óseo que ha venido creciendo y debilitando su hueso.

Desde entonces, hemos pasado meses de estudios, controles constantes, yesos, inmovilizaciones y mucha incertidumbre. Recientemente, los exámenes mostraron que el tumor ha crecido, y ahora estamos esperando una biopsia para confirmar que sea completamente benigno, como los médicos sospechan. Con fe, esperamos que el resultado descarte cualquier posibilidad de cáncer y que podamos proceder con la cirugía ya programada.

Si la biopsia no fuera favorable, Agustín tendría que someterse a otro tipo de cirugías y tratamientos más complejos.

La cirugía es necesaria para preservar su pierna, fortalecer el hueso y permitirle volver, algún día, a correr detrás de un balón. Más que un deporte, el fútbol es su pasión y parte de su identidad.

En este momento, me encuentro con las cuentas en negativo y sin ingresos estables. Los gastos médicos, estudios, hospital y la cirugía han sido abrumadores, y como única proveedora del hogar, se me está haciendo imposible cubrir todo sola.

Por eso, con humildad y esperanza, recurro a ustedes.
Cualquier aporte, por pequeño que sea, marcará una gran diferencia en la recuperación de Agustín.
