Make Lydia American!

Donation protected
Four years after being kidnapped my Islamic militants Boko Haram, Lydia has escaped the persecution of women and Christians in Nigeria.  Don't make her go back.

She has bravely escaped terrorists. She has graduated High School in Oregon. She has met President Trump, appeared in People magazine, spoken at the United Nations and completed a year of College at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida.  But, as of yet, she has not been granted permission to stay here in the US.

Please, help Lydia do the one thing that matters to her most; become an American Citizen.

What's stopping her?
The $5000 she needs to pay for the lawyer.
She doesn't want to ask anyone for so much money.
So I'm asking.

Please help Lydia by kicking in $10, $20 (or $5K) to her legal fund.
She has until the last week of July to file the long overdue application.

We've got a local, experienced lawyer who thinks she has a terrific chance of being granted asylum and US residency. Once accepted she will be able to start working and stop relying solely on charity for her support. After that, she will be able to start working toward citizenship. Your financial support now will allow her to start supporting herself, and once she reaches her goal of becoming a lawyer - maybe she'll help you too.

Lydia needs:
$4500 for the basic legal fees
$500 for travel to Immigration Court in Miami
and I'm asking for an additional $1000 -  just in case (you never know)

I know, you can't help everyone, but if you have ever wanted to ;
 - Support equal education for girls
 - Fight Islamic terrorism
 - Combat the persecution of Christians in other countries
 - help refugees
or just be a really nice person - here's your chance!

Matthew 25: 34 - 40
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.  For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

“The King will reply,
Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
