Jaime Needs Your Help!

Jaime is a two year old cat who was found as a stray living on the streets in Baltimore. She was taken to be  vaccinated and spayed.  While in foster she became very ill. She was breathing heavily through her mouth, drooling and vomiting. She was taken to a regular veterinary practice and X-rays were done.  The xrays were highly suspicious for an intestinal blockage and Jaime had to be taken to an emergency vet for round the clock care and possible surgery.  She worsened and required oxygen and multiple xrays and medications. They placed a tube into her stomach to attempt to relieve the obstruction without surgery. She has been there three days now and her stay required a $1600  deposit. Please help if you can. This is an additional strain on our already limited resources as we have had several special needs cats so far this year that have required dentals,eye surgery, etc. but we could not turn our back on Jaime.
