Support Mason's Recovery Journey

PART 2. So me n maison went to hospital found out his xray showed infection in bowels so he had another repeat xray at 12pm to see if any changes there was no change. So doctor said I’m gonna head home n get my pjs n stay beside him all day n night n he will have another xray 6hrs later at 6pm doctor sat us down n said his xray showed infection was spreading so he called Childrens n Childrens was on way in a few mins dr Hassan said I’m gonna stay by him till Childrens gets here n he did. Childrens got there at 930ish n Childrens called me at 2am n said surgery team is beside him n what his diagnoses is. It is NEC n she explained what it was well at 6-7am Saturday 11/30 I got a call that lil mason was getting sicker n fast he was in critical condition that they had to do surgery we made our way down to be here for mason . We got here n it felt like forever. They called n said surgery went good but mason is still in critical condition they took out half of his intestines 50cc that were dead due to NEC so they said we will go back in surgery Monday to look over everything so Monday came mason was still critical they went in everything looked good they didn’t have to take anymore out so they changed his bag to a smaller bag. So Wednesday came he was going in for his third surgery to get a stoma n that surgery went good he was on a vent it felt like forever he was so swelled due to NEC n surgery . The last two weeks mason has been doing a lot better then he was he got back on oxygen on Xmas due to his o2 dropping but oxygen is helping . Mason will be going in to his fourth surgery in a few weeks to close him up n connect everything this progress will have to start back over .! My baby been through so much. Please keep my lil one in ur prayers still he needs it thank u all so much for prayers for him !! Anything will help !! Traveling back n forth from Pittsburgh to Dubois has been a struggle to see my other 3 kids back home it’s starting to get really expensive . Baby mason won’t b home till almost summer time if next surgery goes good . Thank you all so much .
