#WeRescueKids Sponsor A Child
Donation protected
Donate to help provide life-changing mental health care to a child rescued from sexual abuse.
Hi, we are #WeRescueKids and we provide mental health care and (soon) safe homes to children rescued from sexual abuse.
And right now, we have lots of applications from children asking for our help… And we need YOUR help to be able to sponsor them all.
A donation as much as $100 makes a significant “dent” in paying for a child’s therapy and rehabilitation after abuse. ❤️
So, why is mental health support so important for these children?
Picture this:
You are a young child who enjoys what most young children do…
Playing, eating ice cream, and running around.
Until one day, you are being “groomed” by your parent, neighbour, or trusted family/friend leading up to the point where you are sexually abused.
You tell your family.
If you are lucky, they believe and do everything in their power to remove you from danger and help you through this time.
But only 5% of Americans can afford proper mental health support since it’s not covered by most insurance companies. And your parents, unfortunately, can’t afford to get you professional help.
So for years, you have nightmares about being sexually abused again.
You disconnect with family and friends.
You develop severe anxiety that follows you everywhere.
And eventually, as you get older, you may turn to drugs at an early age to cope with your pain. Develop severe depression and/or suicidal thoughts.
Or even turn to prostitution as a way to cope with your trauma.
Well, that’s what happens to a significant amount of sexually abused children.
Put simply, imagine going through something so horrifying at a young age, and left to suffer in silence as it haunts you the rest of your life.

We believe that children deserve more.
If a child has been sexually abused, they deserve the BEST chance of being a child again and creating a happy chance.
Not to be tossed aside simply because they cannot afford mental health care.
Don’t you agree?
What are we doing, exactly?
Currently, we have raised enough funds to support 5 children for an entire year through professional therapy!
We are beyond thrilled to be able to help this many children.
However, our goals are much larger.
We’d like to sponsor a minimum of 10 kids to get therapy, and to do so we need to raise a total of $9,500 more!
To sponsor one child for a month of therapy and resources is currently $300 USD through #WeRescueKids.
Though if this campaign hits its goal we have several licensed therapists who will be willing to cut their rates in HALF-- making your money go TWICE as far.
Consider donating at least $100 as we know this fundraiser will reach at least 100 other people, and we will hit our goal!
We are currently receiving applications from children who have been sexually abused and are in need of mental health support.
On April 2, 2021, we will be selecting a minimum of 10 children (or more when this campaign you’re reading reaches its goal!) at random to receive therapy for a year.
The legal guardians and the child will consent to receive treatment from our licensed therapist, and the child will begin therapy immediately!
The donations received through this campaign are going to pay the licensed therapists who will be providing the treatment.
What Makes WRK Different From Any Other Charity?
Most other organizations in this space target major sex trafficking rings, or kids within the foster care system. Which leaves a HUGE gap to help the children who are not in those groups, but instead, being abused at home, school, or church.
These children are a LOT harder to find and help, from a legal standpoint. Which is exactly what we want to do. Currently, we are partnering with local law enforcement to find and rescue a child who reports that they’ve been abused at home. Though it’s a lot of work to specialize in these types of abused children, we believe these kids are worth it
So, to sum this all up, what makes us different? It’s that WRK is for the 16 girls and boys currently in transit to be sold as sex slaves…
But ALSO for the 12-year-old boy living at home with his parents who abuse him.
We want WRK to be the brother or sister the kid never had, and provide the type of love and support that they need in order to heal and move forward.

Final Words:
From all of us at We Rescue Kids, we just want to say a BIG thank you to everyone on this page, reading this, donating, sharing our content- and ultimately helping us rescue kids.
We wouldn’t be here without you, and we couldn’t get to where we want to go without you either. Just by donating you are having a direct impact on the lives of vulnerable kids all over the world.
Thank you.

We will be nothing but open and honest with you every step of the way, and we appreciate everyone who is willing to help us get this off the ground!

We believed launching this mission on JT's mom's birthday, then waiting for non-profit status.
All donations are NOT tax-deductible at this time- but are going 100% to the rescue and rehabilitation of sexually abused kids.
