Hi everyone!

I’m Cynthia Appiah, Olympian and proud bobsleigh pilot representing Canada on the world stage. I’ve competed at the Olympic Games, stood among the world’s best, and continue to chase the dream of standing on the Olympic podium at the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.

My Journey

As Canada’s top bobsleigh driver, I’ve dedicated my life to this sport; a sport that demands speed, precision, and relentless determination. Despite immense challenges, I’ve continued to push the limits.

This past March, I finished 4th at the World Championships in Lake Placid, NY, proving that with the right support, I have what it takes to bring home a medal for Canada in 2026.

The Challenge

Over the last two seasons, the Canadian bobsleigh team has faced major funding losses, forcing athletes to personally cover the rising costs of competition and travel. Every training camp, sled part, and trip to Europe comes straight from our own pockets — and it’s becoming unsustainable.

To stay competitive at the world level, I need help covering the essential costs of my Olympic season.

Where Your Support Goes

Your generous donations will directly fund the tools and travel I need to compete against the best in the world:

Expenses (CAD)

2 Sets of Bobsleigh Runners: $20,000

European Van Rental (for training & races): $9,500

Team Fees (travel, accommodations, flights, ice time): $25,500

Total Goal: $55,000

Every dollar raised goes straight toward helping me get back to the start line — faster, stronger, and ready to bring home Olympic gold.
