Walk with Nell for IPATS
Donation protected
Hi everyone. As many of you may know, our precious baby girl Nell, became very unwell in February. Nell developed Sepsis and was critically ill. Before that day, we had never even heard of IPATS - The Irish Paediatric Acute Transport Service. IPATS supports the transfer of critically ill infants and children (aged 4 weeks to 16 years) from a referring hospital to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin or Temple Street Children’s University Hospital.
Nell was first transferred from C.U.H (Cork University Hospital) to Crumlin PICU by an IPATS team, and further onto King's College Hospital London PICU, by another IPATS team a few days later. The care Nell received on both transfers was phenomenal. IPATS played such a vital role in Nell's journey, and we would love to give something back to this incredible service. All funds raised will go towards buying vital equipment for IPATS. We are organising a 5km walk on Sunday 1st June, but if there's anyone who is away from home and can't be with us on the day, that would like to support us, we would be so grateful for any donation, no matter how big or small. Thanks so much for all the love and support ❤️
