I am reaching out to you in hopes of coming together to support one of my wonderful students and his family during a difficult time. For context, my student and his father migrated two years ago and due to safety issues had to move from to a studio that's much further from the school.

These changes have caused many stressors, a major one being financial. Due to circumstances they don't qualify for unemployment or government assistance. Our puma is currently considering dropping out to help his dad in addition to family in Guatemala with the financial hardships that they are facing.

His advisors and I have come together to support his family by providing food, household essentials, and school uniforms. However it is not enough to cover other financial expenses and it breaks our heart to know that one of our students could potentially drop out due to financial constraints.

If you are able, we are asking for any type of financial donation to help my student and his family.
