Don and Barb Oakes Cancer Research Campaign 2025

Since riding my Dad’s bike across Ohio in an effort to magnify cancer awareness the Don and Barb Oakes Cancer Research Campaign has delivered more than $5,000 to The Jimmy V Foundation. Make no mistake, this is 100% because of your willingness. Yes, you the one reading this. Thank You. Thank you for turning a simple idea into a tangible mission. Your support inspires me and our teamwork makes real change. As a father of 3 amazing children my heart pours for every family involved with St. Jude’s Hospital(s). 2025’s efforts will go directly to those families. This year’s message is Clean Up for Cancer, and will initiate in Pontiac, MI. On Sunday (10/5) litter will be picked up, those in need will be greeted and fed, and all efforts to share positive energy will be made.
