On a warm Spring Day on March 29th, our sweet loving boys, Daniel and Ulises Rojo, were both shot multiple times. Through the fast reactions of many witnesses, neighbors, law enforcement and the extremely talented medical teams at Lawrence Memorial, Stormont Vail and KU Medical Center, their lives were saved and both boys are recovering from their injuries. While their injuries heal, the road to recovery both physically and emotionally is just beginning for this family that gives so much to our community. The lost days of work for all four members of the family coupled with the mounting medical expenses and the equipment and supplies necessary to continue their care at home is taxing their financial situation.
