Assistance For The Family Of Nick Vandergragt

Donation protected
After battling the trauma endured by an untimely accident, Nick Vandergragt passed away Thursday January the 25th in Victoria, British Columbia. His children flew from across the country multiple times to be there for him, and to be support their courageous mom. In his final moments, his children dropped all, and left from Ontario to be with him at his side.

Nick was more than a father-in-law to me. He was a mentor, a friend, and a role model. He welcomed me into his family with open arms and treated me like his own son. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. He was generous, compassionate, and loyal. He loved his family deeply and was proud of his children and grandchildren.

Nick was known to most for his work as a talk show host who had a passion for politics and current events. He was not afraid to speak his mind and challenge the status quo. He was respected and admired by his listeners and colleagues. He had a sharp wit and a great sense of humor. He could make anyone laugh with his jokes and stories.

He was one to make sure that his home was open to all. People who entered the Vandergragt home were to be greeted with welcome arms. Songs were sung, jokes were told, and they always made sure you left with a full belly. They would drop everything to help anyone in need, and would do so without prejudice. Truly some of the most generous people I have ever met.

Nick was also a man of faith, traditional values, and grounded principles. These things guided what he did, and how he helped raise a beautiful family with his wife Alison.

I will miss Nick terribly, but I will always cherish the memories we shared. He was a blessing in my life and I am grateful for the time we had together. He was a remarkable man who left a lasting legacy. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers. He will always be my father-in-law and my friend.

I am asking for some help on behalf of Nick's family. To possibly help lighten the burden of costs incurred by his children and wife through cross country travel expenses, lodging, and funerary expenses.

Thank you very much for your time.
