The Tamworth Pantry was founded by Liz Wadsworth. Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, we have been delivering food parcels to those in need, sending up pop up collection points around Tamworth and collecting food donations from local people and businesses.
All funds raised go straight back into the Tamworth Pantry; Liz’s business, LA Travel has temporarily closed due to the pandemic, however she is still paying £300 rent to store all of the food donations and is using her own petrol to selflessly deliver food to those in need and set up pop up collection points.
Funds raised by this go fund me will be used to buy more food for those in need and to pay for travel costs so we can continue to deliver to the vulnerable who cannot leave their houses.
We ask you to please give anything you can to keep us running, whether it is 30p or £5, we would be so grateful.
