Hi everyone.

My name is Engelbert Morales and I'm setting up this page to help someone very important in my life. My sister, Monica Morales, suffered a death in the family that has affected everyone. My sister's dog, Rocky (Jack Russell/rat terrier mix), passed away at the age of 14 due to complications from accidentally ingesting a foreign object that affected his gastrointestinal system. After days and nights of surgeries, treatments, and other remedies, Rocky's life passed on August 5, 2025.

Rocky was a centerpiece in our family, especially as our father has been going through health-related issues. Rocky was the light that would shine into a home that dearly needed it. He would spend countless hours with our father as he recovered from heart surgery and other ailments.

With this loss, my sister has been greatly affected. Rocky was her all, and she did all she could to save him. My children, both 13 and 15, have also felt the emptiness after Rocky's death. Our entire family is trying to get through this time, and we're sticking together as best we can.

After Rocky's passing, my sister has been trying to manage this great loss along with medical bills that have reached $20,000. We are all trying to help my sister through this time, emotionally and financially, but it's tough to say that the cost has been way too high for us to tackle.

Our family continues to push through as we continue to care for our ailing father, who has had recent health issues come up, along with trying to deal with the loss of Rocky. The light of our home would keep us going, and now we're trying to push through as best we can.

This page is my effort to help my sister, who is very dear to me. She and I have always been close, and with new challenges ahead as we deal with my father's health, we need each other more than ever.

If there is anything that anyone can do to help us in managing medical bills from Rocky's passing, we would be blessed! Every little bit counts, and we know that there is a lot of good out there, willing to help in any way possible.
