Support Steve Landon's Fight Against Lymphoma

I come to you with a heavy heart to share the challenging journey that Steve Landon, a beloved father, owner of The Winning Edge Magazine, photographer, writer, two-time Hall of Fame inductee, and an incredible individual, is currently facing. Many of you may know that Steve was in Wisconsin in September 2023, where he was honored with induction into the International Snowmobile Hall of Fame. However, upon returning, Steve's health took an unexpected turn.

On October 23rd, Steve wasn't feeling well and sought medical attention at a local urgent care facility. Initially diagnosed with bronchitis, his condition didn't improve. After a week of persistence, he was sent to the local ER, where a series of tests uncovered a complex medical situation. Steve was transferred to another hospital, and subsequent tests explored into possibilities ranging from ulcers and blood clots to anemia and potential cancer.

Steve came home on November 7th to await pathology reports and follow-up appointments. However, his health deteriorated rapidly. Despite visits to the ER and appointments being pushed off, his condition worsened every day.

In a desperate move for answers, Steve's daughters took him to the University of Michigan ER. After a grueling 20 hours, Steve was admitted, and a dedicated care team discovered the root cause: Lymphoma.

As of now, Steve is admitted to the University of Michigan, preparing for his first treatments once pathology has a full breakdown of his Lymphoma.

Steve's battle against Lymphoma has not only taken a toll on his health but also on his ability to work. The financial strain of medical treatments is compounded by the loss of income during this challenging time.
