Support Scooter's Urgent Vet Treatment
Donation protected
This is my cat Scooter, he is almost 3 years old and unfortunately I had to take him to the emergency vet for a blockage in his urinary track, as he was not able to pee on his own due to what the vet believes was an infection since he found bacteria growth. I’m not sure exactly how this happened but it can happen randomly. Unfortunately the vet told me this could potentially happen again, which made me hesitant to go through with his treatment plan because it is so expensive, but I felt like if I didn’t do this I was giving up on him and not giving him a chance. He is currently recovering and getting back to normal so thankfully he will be okay and recover from this. I face a vet bill of at least $3,500 but it could go up to almost $4,500, I don’t know the exact price it could be since he is still currently at the vet as I’m making this. I have the donation goal at $4,000 but as soon as I find out what the exact price it is going to be I will set it as the exact price. (The exact amount is now $5,008 as he needs to stay a second night which adds additional costs) I understand that since I am his owner I should be able to afford being able to take care of him which I am able to but, in situations like this, being so expensive I’m reaching out for help. I have his medical records from the vet about his treatment plan that I shared, I want to make sure people know this is serious and 100% for my cat. I hate to do this and ask people for money, but I really don’t know what else to do. Anything helps and is extremely appreciated, thank you ❤️
