Support Rachel's Mobile Adoption Center

Hi, there! My name is Rachel Oldenburger and for the last 9 months, I have been fostering local shelter dogs. Through fostering for various local rescue groups, I have been able to foster 11 dogs who have found their forever homes, and currently have foster number 12 sleeping on my lap!

America's shelter system is overwhelmed right now in a way it has never seen. 3 million dogs enter the shelter system every year, and many never leave. I may only be one person, but with the help of the community, I can make a change. Every dog I foster is a saved life. Every dog I foster could inspire someone else to foster, which is another saved life. And every dog that find a forever home, makes room for one more life to be saved. It's a chain reaction.

I need your help to continue this domino effect. I have plans to renovate a 12 foot cargo trailer into a mobile adoption center. This mobile adoption center will be completely free for local rescues to use at their adoption events. It will provide a heated, air conditioned, save space for the dogs to be seen in the public. It will be a space where people can meet their next family member! I am hoping this unique idea will grab the public's attention and will allow me to continue to make a dent in this unprecedented shelter overcrowding issue we are facing.

If you could spare $1, $2, maybe $5 to help me reach my goal to pay for this cargo trailer renovation, it would mean the world to me! Right now, my plans are to install 2 concession windows for onlookers to be able to see the dogs for adoption, a sink, faucet, and water pump system to allow us to wash dogs if they have accidents, crates that can safely house the dogs in the trailer, accessories such as a dog pen, harnesses and leashes, and cleaning supplies.

Our local shelters need us. PLEASE HELP to make this dream happen, so that I can get eyes on ALL local shelter dogs! One dog at a time, we can make a difference!
