An Instrument for the Dominican Republic - Un Instrumento para La República Dominicana
Dominican NOLA Fest, in partnership with the New Orleans Jazz Museum and Hon. Antonio Genao, Honorary Consul of the Dominican Republic in New Orleans, is leading a meaningful mission to enrich the lives of children and youth in the Dominican Republic through the transformative power of music and cultural education. From February 17 to 24, 2025, our team will be in the Dominican Republic as part of the 2025 Dominican Republic Cultural Exchange Mission to bring musical instruments and conduct educational workshops in dance, drumming, and book reading for underserved communities.
Why We Need Your Help:
For many children and teens, access to musical instruments and education can be life-changing. Music teaches discipline, fosters creativity, and builds a sense of community. By donating instruments, we aim to inspire the next generation of musicians, artists, and leaders in the Dominican Republic.
Dominican NOLA Fest is leading this fundraiser to directly fund the purchase of musical instruments for educational organizations, providing tools for learning and self-expression.
How You Can Support:
- Donate: Every donation, big or small, helps bring us closer to our goal.
- Share: Help us spread the word by sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and community.
- Be a Part of Our Mission: Join us in creating a bridge between New Orleans and the Dominican Republic, celebrating and supporting musical and cultural education.
Together, with the leadership of Dominican NOLA Fest and the support of our partners, we can make a lasting impact through the universal language of music. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey!
