Mary Ellen was a proud and active member of Bronx Community Board 8. She devoted countless hours to improving the neighborhoods she loved so deeply. Whether she was volunteering at local events, helping neighbors in need, or lending her voice to causes that mattered, Mary Ellen’s commitment to community was unwavering.

To us, she was more than just a community leader — she was a warm, generous, and compassionate mother, friend, and role model. Her loss is felt deeply, not only by our family but by so many whose lives she touched.
