Support Malawi’s young children

Hi there, this Summer I am off to Malawi to volunteer in local schools. As part of this, I am raising funds for the Malawian charity: Banda Bola Sport Foundation. They bring sports equipment and opportunities to kids in Malawi. In a few weeks, I’m taking on a unique challenge: a blindfolded 5km run (with a guide of course!). The challenges I will face in this run symbolise the obstacles these kids encounter in accessing sports. We get to choose where our fundraised money goes and I chose this charity because growing up I played lots of sport and it brought me a lot of joy, taught me teamwork, discipline, and allowed me to build strong relationships with others. I believe every child deserves this chance, but many kids in Malawi lack even the most basic sports gear which makes it very difficult for them to participate in any sport. The funds we raise will go directly towards providing sports equipment, like balls, nets, clothing, and also to support coaching and training programmes. Every donation is highly appreciated and it opens doors to their sporting dreams.
