Hello Friends and Family,

This is Lorrissa, many of you know me as nana. As many of you already know, I have been dealing with severe medical conditions. Due to multiple hospital admissions, on October 9th, I underwent a major abdominal ostomy surgery. Where they had to remove partial of my small intestines, my appendix and secum. I have 5 areas of my abdominal with stitches and a ostomy bag for 3-6 months. This procedure was a life-changing step that will significantly improve the quality of my life and allow me to heal. This surgery has been very difficult to deal with. As this was the best decision the doctors recommended, it has really also been an emotional journey.

While health insurance is currently not an option due to lost of my jobI will be out of work for the next 6 months as I recover, followed by reconstructive surgery by May of 2026. While the amount only covers 3 months, I may need it for 6 months depending on my healing process. The funds will cover all medical supplies to maintain the ostomy.

The total goal I am trying to raise is $2,000 based on the estimated cost. All donations will be used to purchase supplies from Edgepark Ostomy Supply. Anything will be appreciated at this critical time. If you cannot donate, it's okay.
