Support Kelly and Kreid in Their Time of Need

Hey family and friends!! I recently lost my job of 11 years due to a time issue. I'm extremely upset and scared. Here is a little of my life…

After having my only child born in October 2022, postpartum was not kind to me. I suffered with postpartum depression in the worst ways. My son Kreid was also sick so much in his first 18 months of life. I was in and out of the emergency room often. So, with just coming off FMLA, I had no available time, causing me to take time with no pay. I'm a single mother, so everything is on me! Always! I did my best during that period of time, most days sleeping in my car in the parking garage before work so I wouldn't be late. I would have co-workers wake me when they parked. True story!!!! I was a new mom struggling in so many ways, and banking time was not an easy task for me.

Shortly after my son was born, my father became unexpectedly sick. He then passed away in May 2024. Life was over for me. My dad was everything to me; I cry almost every day! He was the best man on earth, and I lost him. I had to wake up every day, be a mother, and go to work all while being extremely lost and heartbroken. Usually, people would find me crying at my desk while working. I'm a hard worker, often working through my lunches and always helping. I have had some back-to-back events in my life that made things hard for me and forced me to take time with no pay.

On July 1st, I had an emergency with my son and had to leave work at 3 pm. I frantically panicked because, like I said, I'm a single mother and I don't have much help with my son. I checked my available time; I had vacation time available, and I then called my supervisor. She approved me to leave. The next morning, I went to work and was told not to sign in, and my supervisor didn't know why. I was sent home and told I would be called. I later was terminated via a man knocking on my door with a termination letter. I didn't deserve to be fired. I deserved compassion and understanding. I'm currently appealing my termination, but during this time, I'm not getting paid and have no income to support me and my son. I'm asking if you can find it in your heart to donate however much you can to help me; it would mean the world to me. I go above and beyond for everyone around me, and I would never ask for help if it wasn't needed! Any amount will help us, and if you can't donate, just say a prayer for me… Thank you so much. Love, Kelly and Kreid!
