Support Our Heirloom Cacao Farmers

Tax deductible
Recently our farmer in Guatemala incurred an unfortunate and unexpected importation fee that was significantly high. This inspired us to not only rise to the occasion and cover the costs of this specific bill, but to also raise extra funds for his farm and our partners on the ground in Peru.

This is our first fundraiser in three years to provide further financial & energetic support to those on the ground in Peru & Guatemala. They devote their entire lives day in and day out to providing KAKAO to all of us across the globe.

These teams pour their blood, sweat and tears into procuring and producing the highest quality ceremonial grade cacao on the planet, in integrity with every hand involved as well as the soil in which the cacao grows. It goes without saying that this work is their full-time mission, purpose and devotion of their heart and soul.

We are calling on our community to show their support and gratitude for the cacao farmers, communities and teams involved by making an energetic donation of any amount. The total amount raised will be split equally between Peru & Guatemala, and will be used at the sole discretion of our managing partners on the ground in each country. They have various needs for new pieces of equipment, infrastructure, wages and beyond that we would be honored to support with alongside our global KAKAO family.

All donations will go directly into their hands for immediate application on the ground. KAKAO Ceremonial Drinking Chocolate is a 501c3 non-profit, making your donations tax-deductible.

Thank you in advance for your heart and generosity in this fundraising project.

Our goal is to raise a minimum of $10K by the end of June. If we have 200 people donate just $50, we can easily reach this goal.

Please send this campaign to any of your friends and community members that have received the blessing of KAKAO in any capacity.

KAKAO's Mission

1) To protect wild, native strains of cacao while supporting and uplifting the farmers that cultivate them.

2) To introduce the power of ceremonial-grade cacao to the world at large for the betterment of humanity and our planet.

About us

KAKAO was founded six years ago with the mission to bring true ceremonial-grade cacao to the western world for healing, inspiration, health and connection.

We have traveled through Guatemala and Peru to find the purest, heirloom cacao beans in the world. We created our production process start to finish to preserve the integrity and essence of cacao for the highest benefit of those who work with KAKAO.

We feel our work with cacao is a sacred calling and we are humbled and honored to be a part of it. We are so grateful to our partners on the ground in Peru and Guatemala, all of the farmers, and all of the original guardians of the cacao across Central & South America.

We go above and beyond to make sure we get you the purest ceremonial grade cacao on the planet, from how we source our ingredients, to how we make our product with intention, and how we run our business behind the scenes. We have structured KAKAO as a registered non profit to support the farmers & communities that help cultivate native strains of cacao, via above fair trade pricing and beyond.

Our passion is connection. We love traveling the world and meeting the amazing KAKAO tribe that is on the path of living and leading from the heart. We appreciate you all so much. Through KAKAO we have truly found our soul family.
