Support Gabriela's Pilgrimage to Italy

Hello,

my name is Gabriela Vasquez. I am currently a freshmen in college attending Franciscan University of Steubenville.

Recently, I had the blessing of running into my dear friend Sr. Elfie who is a Salesian Sister. Upon catching up, she invited me to accompany her and twenty or so other women to go on a Pilgrimage to Italy from July 19th - August 4th this coming summer of 2025. Throughout this Pilgrimage we will spend time in discernment, contemplation, and prayer. We will do so throughout visiting Mornese, Nizza, Turin, Milan, Siena, Florence, Orvieto, Assisi, Subiaco, Monte Cassino, and coming to a close in Rome where we will see the canonization of blessed pier Giorgio Frassati.

This, in taking place during the Jubilee year is very well possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity as the Great Jubilee Year only occurs every 25 years.

With all this being said, in feeling greatly called to partake in this Pilgrimage, I humbly ask for your generosity, help, and support to do the Will of the Lord. In order to accompany them I have to fundraise $5,000 (this includes flights, bus transportation, housing, and meals). I intend to work all of May as soon as I get back to FL from school till my departure in July. Everything which I earn will be towards fundraising, hoping to raise half on my own, around $2,500. With that, I trust in the Lord and ask that you help me fundraise the remaining $2,500. I need to officially register by the end of this April with a downpayment fee of $1,000. If you are willing and able, I would be ever so deeply appreciative of any and all the help you can give.
