Support Camryn’s Fight for Recovery
Donation protected
Many have inquired over Camryn’s go fund me, and the necessity has increased now more than ever since Camryn’s transfer to Baylor’s rehab facility. Camryn’s mom, Shirley, has been by Camryn’s side the whole time for her love and support; therefore, she has not been able to work for over 4 months, and as bills continue to add up, donations are greatly appreciated. We are also asking for continued prayers for Camryn’s recovery. Camryn has received many miracles after a tragic hit and run accident February 11th. She continues to persevere, with the many prayers lifting her up. After 17 weeks in the hospital, Jesus has miraculously brought her through 8 surgeries after facing a severed aorta, brain bleed, and a healed C1 along with the surrounding ligaments. Most recently, she was transferred to a neurological rehabilitation facility where she is going through cognitive and physical rehabilitation. With rehab she is now tolerating the tracheotomy cap well, showing positive strides towards the removal of her trach, spending time outside for the first time in over 4 months, and communicating by nodding and using hand signals for yes and no. We strongly believe God has a purpose for Camryn and will continue to guide her through her recovery, and appreciate the donations and prayers more than you know! Isiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Update as of July 18- Yesterday, Camryn went through surgery to remove the scar tissue from her tracheotomy, as well as a procedure on both of her feet. By God’s grace, both surgeries went great! We are currently looking for a new rehab facility to transfer Camryn to due to insurance issues. After confirming the facilities took her insurance, the various rehab facilities are still stating different reasons why they can’t take Camryn, one even saying no because her injuries were from a car wreck. Further complicating things, the other driver who hit their car did not have insurance. We ask you to pray along side us, by God’s will, he will place her in a rehab facility that will best suit her injuries to promote recovery.
