My name is Aaron, and I'm raising funds for my father, Barry. Barry's health journey has been incredibly challenging. Beginning in 2017, he suffered a heart attack while driving and nearly passed away. After emergency surgery, he had four stents put in his heart and was able to recover. Then, in October of 2019, Barry was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer. He underwent many treatments and therapies, eventually needing to have his kidney removed. Not long after, Barry had a stroke while driving, which revealed cancer in his brain. He bravely underwent brain surgery to remove the cancer and has since had regular radiation and therapies to address multiple spots in his lungs and brain.

Despite these immense challenges, Barry continued to work for as long as he could. Now, eight years after his first major health crisis, he has succumbed to cancer and is unable to work. The illness has made it impossible for him to support himself, and our family is doing everything we can to help him through each day.

The funds raised will go directly toward Barry's rent, bills, and groceries, as well as travel expenses for his many medical appointments. As his condition progresses, we are also preparing for funeral costs, which is a heavy burden to bear. Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the financial stress and allow Barry to focus on spending his remaining days in comfort and dignity.

Donations will significantly improve my dad's quality of life for the remainder of his days, as his energy and ability to work have dwindled to almost nothing.
