Support Aiden's Journey to Taekwondo Nationals

Help Aiden get to Nationals!!

My son, Aiden Chatmon, has qualified for the 2024 AAU Taekwondo National Championships in Ft Lauderdale, Florida June 30-July 6. We are asking the help of our family, friends, and community to help him reach his goal of $5,000 to cover travel, lodging and event fees.

Aiden has followed his passion for Taekwondo since he was 4 years old! Mom and Dad have encouraged him every step of the way and we cannot be prouder of him and how he has stuck with it through the years. He is now a Red belt on his steady path to becoming a Black Belt! He is a member of the competition team and a member of Team Elite (a mentoring program that teaches leadership and Taekwondo excellence). In addition to Taekwondo, Aiden has also shown tremendous accomplishments in basketball and soccer. Aiden is not only a standout on the mat, but off the mat as well. He knows the importance of being a student-athlete and has excelled in his academics as well by being accepted into the Gifted and Talented program at his school!!

We are so proud of Aiden’s perseverance, loyalty, and commitment to his sport; that when he qualified for Nationals, his dad, a Virginia State Trooper, immediately began picking up overtime shifts. Being able to cheer Aiden on at the National level is the biggest reward for him and all of his hard work. For us as parents, every sacrifice we've made to get him to this point has been so worth it. We want nothing more than to give him this opportunity.
