Monty Shipman is the Lead Technician at Recovery Unplugged, a well known drug and alcohol treatment center in Austin, TX.

As the Lead Tech, Monty has made a profound impact on the lives and recoveries of countless people in our community.

Well, now he needs our help...

On September 30, 2021, Monty suffered a full blown stroke that left him almost completely incapacitated. Luckily, he got to the hospital in time to get a "clot buster" which exponentially increased his chance for a full recovery; however, as of the time of this post (October 15, 2021), Monty has yet to regain many of his faculties and still has a long road ahead of him before he'll be anywhere near able to work again and pay his bills.
