Steve Anderson was recently diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease and is in need of a kidney transplant. He will probably be needing dialysis also.

Steve, his wife Sheri and son Peyton live in Lemmon, SD.  Steve is doctoring in Aberdeen, SD which is at least a 3 hour drive one way for them.

Steve does have health insurance, but as you can imagine, that won't begin to cover all the medical costs they are facing plus travel expenses and lost wages.
