On July 12th, the Lamb family's world changed in an instant. While driving to a new state to start anew, Jay and their child, Sophia, were involved in a devastating car accident. Though Sophia survived with minor injuries and Elena with no physical scars, Jay has suffered a severe spinal cord injury that has left him paralyzed from the shoulders down.

This tragic event has not only turned their lives upside down emotionally, but it has also placed a heavy financial burden on the family. Jay now faces a long road of rehabilitation, adaptive equipment, and ongoing medical care.
